About the Role
As a Senior Vue.js Engineer at Richpanel, you'll play a key role in building scalable and intuitive web applications that power customer support for thousands of brands. You'll focus on writing high-quality, maintainable code while actively refactoring legacy code and improving performance.
We're looking for someone who can balance technical excellence with speed, ensuring our frontend is both robust and innovative.
You'd be a fit if...
- 5+ years of frontend development experience: Proven expertise with Vue.js, React.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Vue.js ecosystem: Familiarity with Vue 3, Vuex/Pinia, and Composition API.
- Performance Optimization Skills: Experience identifying and fixing memory leaks, improving browser performance, and ensuring apps run efficiently even in complex scenarios.
- Passion for Clean Code: Ability to refactor legacy code into modular, reusable components.
- Testing Expertise: Strong experience writing unit tests and E2E tests to ensure code stability. Ability to maintain 90%+ test coverage.
- Component Design Skills: Experience using Storybook or similar tools to build and showcase reusable components.
- Delivery Focused: Demonstrated ability to ship 1-2 features per month without compromising quality.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex bugs and design scalable solutions with minimal guidance.
- Mentorship Skills: Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small teams is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Refactor existing code to improve modularity, readability, and performance.
- Proactively identify and fix bugs or performance issues in the frontend.
- Design and develop highly reusable components for use across the platform.
- Maintain 90%+ test coverage to ensure code reliability and stability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs efficiently.
- Ship 1-2 major frontend features every month, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal regressions.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase and mentor junior developers.

- Refactors Bad Code: You consistently identify and improve problematic frontend code, ensuring improved readability and performance.
- Memory Efficiency: You proactively reduce browser memory consumption, keeping it under 300MB for large/complex views.
- Reliable Testing: You maintain 90%+ test coverage, ensuring stable and predictable releases.
- Feature Delivery: You consistently ship impactful features that improve the user experience, with minimal bugs or regressions.
